I placed an order well over a month ago (before the no-buy started) for some OPIs from Ebay. Let’s just say the postman must have been having an off day as he failed to deliver the package to me. So cue a few emails to the very helpful Ebay seller and after coughing up for the postage once again, I was pleased when the parcel finally arrived this morning.
Or am I pleased? From L-R: Ti-Tan Your Toga, Oh So Glam, and Serenade.
I’m not entirely sure what possessed me to buy these. Ti-Tan Your Toga is the only one that looks remotely interesting. I saw it on Kae‘s blog and really liked it, so I’m pleased I’ve got it.
But the other two? Oh So Glam looks like an exact dupe for She’s Golden (which I already have), and Serenade? Well, lets just say it looks like runny custard. You can’t tell quite how yellow it is from the photo above. I can see it rolling around in the bottle with consistency like water and I can’t say I’m looking forward to trying it out. Maybe this is one that was discontinued for a reason!
But I shall have to suspend my judgement til I’ve tried them out. You never know, they could be little gems. Does anyone else have these colours?
On a separate note, Nails Inc have an offer that is available TODAY only where you can buy £50 worth of products for only £10! You get
Fast Dry Spray (worth £8)

i have ti tan your toga….to be honest i’m not too excited about it so i havent tried it out yet….maybe seeing it on you will inspire me to give it a go! xxx
I also have Ti Tan, but I’ve never used it. You use yours and then we’ll use ours 🙂
Not a big OPI fan anyway but these don’t look very inspiring….sorry Helen!
Yeah, I have to say, eh. But you never know, you might like one or two or three (or none!) of them when you give them a go on your nails!
Oh So Glam is fantastic!
Try a couple of layers and then top with a white glitter, You will look like the White Witch from Narnia, I am not kidding You! I truly love this polish. If it goes on too sheer use a whitish base coat. I don’t think You will be dissapointed 🙂
bah nails inc are out of stock of the offer
They almost look alike. Runny custard doesn’t sound to promising. Maybe you could use it to thin out another polish that you’d like to lighten up. The Narnia nails sound really exciting.
I’m waiting for some OPIs too from an eBay seller. The seller blamed the postal strike and has apparently sent out some more that I am yet to receive. Hmmmmmm.
I’ve done a little test of it and it’s pretty cool actually – It won’t be to everyone’s taste though.
Poor neglected Ti-Tan! I’m going to do it next week so you can check it out!
Liz, I feel exactly the same way. I must have been having an off moment when I chose them.
Yep – Ti-Tan is ok but the jury’s out on the others right now. What a boring haul!
Hi Pixelpig and welcome!
Thankyou for the tip – I will definitely be trying that one out!
Ohh sorry you didn’t get there in time. They do them quite frequently though so I’ll keep you posted.
Runny custard is bad and a total waste of money. No idea why this is hard to find – it’s terrible. Maybe OPI came to their senses and stopped it as soon as they started.
Can’t wait to try the Narnia nails!
I found out that a package gets returned to a seller after three weeks. How long has it been MIA? I can recommend a couple of really good Ebay sellers for your next purchase.
Most importantly, what did you buy?? Now I’m no longer shopping, I need to live vicariously through other people’s purchases!
If you don’t like Ti-tan you can blame me! =x
they look like the most boring colours on the planet, like a variety of cold gloopy rice puddings
