Merry Merry. Isn’t it gorgeous? This photo actually hails from about April as I remember wearing it to the OPI launch of Touring America way back when. Feels like five minutes ago, doesn’t it? Also
shows that there are some festive polishes that can be worn any time of the year.
This isn’t a mainstream OPI polish, it is what’s known as an Ulta exclusive. Ulta is an American shop that I really wish we had here. I’ve been lucky enough to try some of their own brand polishes, and also OPI seem to release a few polishes every once in a while that are exclusive to Ulta. Not sure what the deal is there, but I know that it’s tough for us internationals as it is nigh on impossible for us to get our mitts on them. Merry Merry came my way via an American eBay seller who had it listed on her shop one day – I grabbed it straight away as I remember seeing it on Scrangie’s site and falling in love with it. Regrettably, this eBay seller, who was the
source of most of my hard to find OPIs has now stopped shipping to the UK – gutted.
So there we are. Merry Merry is a really pretty glass flecked fuschia shade that goes absolutely insane when the sun (at Christmas? Whatever!) or electric light hits it. It is jam packed with shimmer and glitter and all manner of pretty things.
This is my favourite type of pink polish. It is blue toned, and super flashy. This isn’t a million miles away from the likes of Let Me Entertain You from last year’s Burlesque collection, or Meep Meep Meep from this year’s Muppets so if you’re really fancying this, then you wouldn’t do too badly by tracking one of those down.
For me though, as regular readers will know, I love the thrill of the chase and adding something rare or discontinued to my collection. Merry Merry makes a welcome appearance in my collection and is ideal for this time of the year when perhaps (dare I say it?) we are getting a bit tired of reds, golds and greens.

oh no! now I’ll have to add this to my wishlist. you can be such an enabler! like your perfume post – I just had to go and see if I like the smells of the perfumes you reviewed 🙂
Love glass flecked polishes. I never get to Ulta so I’ve missed this one. Will have to look for others like it. Very pretty on you.
