Oooh! My swap parcel from Mary arrived today! How exciting!
I’ve said it before but I shall say it again, even though I am preaching to the converted! Mary is one of my favourite bloggers. Not only does she update regularly, but she offers honest reviews of a great range of products, from nails to skincare to make-up. She is also a great friend. Mary has recently moved over from Blogger to have her own website as well and I have to say, it is spangly and excellent. I’m overwhelmed. Dirty Sexy Money, Metro Chic and Toast of the Town have been huge lemmings of mine ever since I started blogging. And I have really wanted to try a brown holo…and Mary has sent me two! What a lucky girl I am!
Also included in my parcel was some watermelon “old fashioned hard candy”, chocolate truffles, a Michigan fridge magnet, and some Stila Lip Glaze. I’d wanted to try Stila ever since I read somewhere that it was Cameron Diaz’s favourite. And they have gone out of business here and I’d not been able to get any, so Mary came to my rescue here too.
So Mary, thankyou again,. I am really grateful and love absolutely everything you sent me! Can’t wait to try them out!

This looks like an amazing swap. I covet Metro Chic so much it’s silly. Curious about the Revlon not so blue-berry. Looking forward to you testing these beauties out. Will check out Mary’s blog too after such high praise. I love when people lead you to other great blogs.

Mary is just about the best! Have fun swatching and eating up your candies. Can’t wait to see Dirty Sexy Money on you. Your nails are going to be looking amazing. What’s the difference between using BLogger or having your own web site? I’ve read Mary’s blog from the beginning. She really has come into her own with blogging and photography. I think she has just about the best blog there is.
Tell me about it – it’s a killer. I think Jermyn Street is your best bet – it seems to be the closest, and at about £5 is the cheapest too.

Aww, what an awesome package! 😀 She’s such a sweetheart, I think her blog was the first one I started following, haha! Then I just went through her bloglist and started adding folks. She sent you a great ton of goodies! I don’t own a single Misa polish yet, but I’m about to get a bunch of them, I’ve been writing down ones that appeal to me. Apparently Dirty Sexy Money is going out of stock quick, and apparently being discontinued, because some sites don’t even have it on their list now! I’m going to grab it.
And I’ve been lemming the SOPI color as well! All great choices 🙂 Can’t wait to see the holos on you!

I get tons of bills as well. Bah. But the nice parcels make the bills easier to bear. A recipe for disaster reallly.

Having your own site is meant to be a bit more professional etc although it can still be hosted through Blogger or WordPress. You get your own URL and so on.
I’m going to try Dirty Sexy Money this week and can’t wait! Just need to k ow when a possible client meeting is as I don’t think they would appreciate it as much as you ladies would!

I can’t wait to try DSM and I am even happier and more grateful to have a bottle now that I know it is becoming a HTF. Why do brands do that to all the good shades??
