First things first, I have indeed cut my nails. Well, they were re-shaped for me during the Jessica manicure I had during London Fashion Week, and so are now a lot shorter but more of a uniform length, as you can see.
Daft name aside, this is a very nice nail varnish by Diamond Cosmetics that was kindly sent to me for review by Jennifer from Flashy Nails.
I know regular blog readers will have been uinundated with picures of pastel shadres of late. Illamasqua, China Glaze and many other brands are getting into the pastel trend for Spring. I know that this polish from Diamond Cosmetics has been around for a while but it seems the right time of year to be showing it to you now.
This is a really pretty lavender creme polish. I have no idea where the name came from though. It neither twinkles, or is periwinkle coloured, but never mind – we’ll let them off that one.
This was beautifully opaque in three coats and it dries extremely fast. The third coat was a little bit draggy but only because I wasn’t really prepared for how fast it was actually going to dry. Other than that I experienced no
application issues at all. I added my habitual coat of Seche Vite but I don’t really think it needed it – it was more for the shine than to aid the drying time.
Considering how inexpensive this polish is, at £3.00, the formula is definitely up there with the big boys. Diamond polishes can be a little bit hit and miss but this one has restored my faith. It is a perfect Spring shade that won’t break the bank.
Sorry for the hasty pre-cleanup shots by the way but I put this on and ran out the door as I was going to my wedding hair and make-up trial. Exciting!
You can order Twinkle Twinkle Periwinkle (and plenty of other shades) from Flashy Nails.

Such a sweet color ! I like it 🙂
Now, this I like a lot! A great shade that appears to be somewhere between a petal pink and a lilac. Very nice. And BTW, I do very much like your nails at this length. I know they must seem shorter to you but they still look LONG to me! 😉
Very pretty shade on you. I like this light lavender creme. Your nails look much better reshaped this length. I know you miss your very long length but they look much more pretty like this. They’ll grow longer again. Love this shade.
Reshape makes a huge difference! Love the colour too!
Sorry looks like an old lady’s bad purple rinse
LOL!
Tuli – Thanks for commenting – glad you like it 🙂
Beth – Don’t tell anyone but I think I prefer my nails this length as well!
Lucy – Thankyou – I thought you’d like it!
Liz – Thankyou. I feel better for it!
Britny – One of these days I will find a creme finish that you like. It’s a quest!
