SchMOOzing with Cowshed & Whistles

Last week I was invited to the press launch of Cowshed’s first ever collaboration with Whistles, a line amoosingly called Whistling Cow, at their London store.

Mind you, I turned up looking like a drowned rat as the heavens had conveniently opened as soon as I stepped out of Oxford Circus tube station and made the short journey by foot to the shop on Foubert’s Place, just off Carnaby Street.

The limited edition collection features four of Cowshed’s cult, best-selling products wrapped up Whistles’ unique ‘love’ print, which the gorgeous swimsuit illustrated above marks Whistles’ first ever swimwear collection.

The line includes a hand cream (£16), body lotion (£18), bath & shower gel (£16) and hand wash (£14) in 300ml bottles, and of course the swimwear is available to purchase from Whistles.  I was drawn to the red costume – it’s very cute and chic with a 70s influence behind the design.

At the launch, I was treated to a manicure and head and shoulder massage, which was perfect after the day I’d had.  I didn’t dare to remove my stinky trainers for fear of gassing the therapist, mind.

Until you step into the shop, you don’t realise how big it is.  The basement has treatment rooms, the back of the shop has a nail bar and there is a snacks/drinks bar serving up healthy snacks and juices.

The concept behind Cowshed is an exciting one and the names of the products are superb.  It’s definitely given me a cattle prod to explore their beauty products more.

Cowshed’s collaborated range with Whistles is available to buy online or in-store.
