I can’t think of a way to start this post so I’m going to just jump in feet first: Roger & Gallet’s Gingembre Rouge Shower Gel* and Sorbet Body Lotion* are so good, like seriously so good.
You might recall I reviewed the Gingembre Rouge fragrance last year. Well these two are the newest additions to the range and they complete the set up very nicely. It is my current favourite duo to use and since we are basking in a very warm September (soon to turn to October), it’s perfectly acceptable for the scent of summer to linger on just a little bit longer.
The shower gel is delicious with a burst of energising freshness from the fragrance of ginger, pomegranate and mandarin. Enriched with aloe vera, it’s a hydrating formula that leaves my skin feeling properly pampered. Gingembre rouge is suitable for both sensitive and dry skin and doesn’t contain parabens and sulphates.
The Energising Sorbet body lotion, suitable for normal to dry skin, partners up perfectly as it melts into the skin, leaving it moisturised and soft to touch. It is exceedingly sweeter in comparison and the lotion has a very subtle shimmer but it’s barely noticeable. Layer it on with a few spritzes of the perfume and you’ll smell ravishing.
The feel of Roger & Gallet’s products epitomises luxury but without a heavy price tag. In fact the shower gel is £9 for 200ml and the body lotion is only £14 for 200ml.
It might seem like we’ve been bombarded with a lot of French fragrance and body care brands but this one is definitely worth paying attention to.
