Review: Nina Ultra Pro in Cobalt

Oh my word! I haven’t used Nina Ultra Pro polishes since the time this blog began.  Between now and back then, it would appear the brand underwent a facelift with a new bottle design, making it appear more professional looking. I was drawn to the blue cobalt colour of this (funnily enough called ‘Cobalt’) because it’s a colour I’ve been after for a long time and it stood out amongst the reds and pinks on the shelf in Sally’s.

I will just tell you how much I love the formula and brush. It’s wonderfully wide and firm enough to distribute the nail colour incredibly neatly in a couple of swipes on both hands. This is a big deal for a klutz like me.

The formula is smooth, dries pretty quickly and is opaque in 2 coats, giving this wonderfully rich cobalt blue. Best of all? It was only £3.49. Nestled between the big boys, OPI and Morgan Taylor, Nina Ultra Pro delivers on value and results at budget prices. I think this has reignited my love for Nina Ultra Pro. Going back to Sally’s…

Nina Ultra Pro polishes are £4.19 and available from www.sallyexpress.com or in store.
