Pimps & Pinups is a hair salon in London’s Shoreditch which has just launched its first collection of hair products exclusively online to asos.com. Their Rose Oil shampoo and conditioner is new and I was recently sent samples to try.
Suitable for all hair types, including coloured and chemically treated hair, the sweet smell of roses is evident from opening the bottles and yes, it leaves your hair fragranced. Rose oil is renowned for its anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and moisturising properties, and this duo has left my hair feeling nourished. However, the products are not sulphate-free so avoid if you have glue-bonded hair extensions or have a particularly sensitive scalp.
Pimps & Pinups also has a colourful range of non-permanent hair colour products that can be washed out easily for a temporary look (I think the unicorn queen Fashioncide should get her hands on these) so if you’ve always thought about dying the ends of your hair a neon turquoise, Pimps & Pinups is your dealer.
