Oh you lucky ladies. Not only have you been treated to several posts from us today, you also get some….colour!! That doesn’t happen much on Nice Things, so be pleased that I’ve got a suntan and that I’m feeling a bit experimental.
I don’t know what possessed me to buy Totally Tangerine but it must have been a moment of madness. I just don’t normally wear colours like this. But the spirit of summer must have possessed me. Plus I remember thinking now that it might be nice for toes. 
Application was a major headache though. For something soooo bright in the bottle, this was incredibly sheer. This was four coats and I still had really obvious visible nail line.
However, it is a nice enough colour. A bright juicy orange with a little amount of shimmer. Pretty. Just a shame that it would have taken about seven coats to reach opacity. Grump.
But this is where Zoya’s Gabrielle came into play. One of my Nixxy polishes. You 
can see it in the top photo, and again here.
This covered up a multitude of VNL sins and added a whopping dollop (hehe) of smooth glitter to boot. Yay!
A pretty good pairing even if I do say so myself! Gabrielle is also very sheer and wouldn’t work alone but over Totally Tangerine it seems to transform two so-so opaque polishes into something far more special.
Here’s the close-up. doesn’t it look all fizzy, like orangeade? Who’d have thought nail polish could make you thirsty?!
So in conclusion – would I wear this every day? No. It’s a little toooo bright and out there for me. But is it pretty? Absolutely. I would definitely go for this on my toes, without a shadow of a doubt, but trendy as orange might be, I’m not 100% certain it’s for me. I think it would look awesome on Sheenie though!
I love orange nail gloss! It makes me feel happy and zingy lol I have a gorgeous pair of sandals which are cerise pink, orange and white, I put orange on my fingers and cerise on my toes and vice versa!

This is a shade you should wear more often. Your nails look gorgeous. You have to wear brighter colors on your fingernails. Since you wear such basic colors you really need the color on your nails. I can’t get over how beautiful your manicure is. Love the sparkle Miss Fizzy Fingers.

We don’t really “do” halloween over here – certainly not to the extent of how popular it is in America anyway.
