After all the murky autumn and winter colours you’ve had from me in the past week, I thought it was time to bring you something bright.
I know the fashionistas among you are going to be recoiling in horror. “What the hell is this backward girl from the UK doing showing us polishes from a Spring collection? D’oh, talk about behind the times!”
Well, I don’t care. I think this colour is pretty timeless anyway.
A rich, pinky-red creme, this must be OPI’s staple shade. Most collections
have at least one reddish pink berry toned creme, and the South Beach collection was no exception.
It isn’t very original but it is a nice shade. This is two coats, but would have been better with three. I still had some visible nail line after two coats.
I wore this on my toes for most of the summer. It’s a lovely bright colour that won’t get you noticed but goes with everything.
I’m finding it hard to say any more about this one to be honest. It didn’t make me uncomfortable, like a lot of brights do, but it also didn’t make me look at my nails in awe.
It’s slightly pinker than these photos make out – more true to the bottle shade. If you like it, or your collection is missing a colour like this (and let’s face it, you should have a staple go-to berry creme in your stash) then I recommend you keep the £9.00 or so that Miami Beet costs, and instead hand over £2.98 for Barry M Raspberry. The colour of the Barry M polish is richer, more opaque and generally a better deal.
Sorry this one isn’t a brit hit. I actually think it looks cheap :/

I really like Miami Beet. As you said, it is more pink than shown here. I get great coverage in 2 coats, maybe yours is a bit different to mine! But, either way, I think it is a great colour and would definitely recommend it. I only have this and Overexposed in South Beach from this collection, though I’m still undecided about Done Out in Deco!

Very pretty on you. I own this but have never worn it. Nothing wrong with wearing this during the Fall season. Wear what you like! It’s a very pretty shade just nothing to get very thrilled about.

Yes, mine came out rather thin. But it didn’t put me off, just needed another coat.
I have OOISB and weirdly, that review is scheduled for this week. I also adore DOID so will review that asap for you so you can take a look before you decide whether to get it or not.
