OPI Go On Green

Hello, everyone. Today I have Go On Green, which is an odd choice of a name really, as, well, it doesn’t exactly go on green, it goes on blue. And a multitide of other colours admittedly, but green it is not. Well, not quite, anyway.

As you can tell from the photos, this one is mainly meant to be used as a layering topcoat. I’ve heard people sing its praises about layering it over lilacs or green bases, or blues of course, where the flashiness of the shimmer and the duochrome really take over.

This isn’t the type of colour I’d reach for all of the time but it is very pretty, delicate and spring like. I have a feeling that it has been duped to death, but OPI again in shades like See Ya Later, Sailor! and various others, but looking at it here is making me want to dig it out again.

Go On Green is still readily available online for those of you who fancy a little shimmer in your lives. What do you think? Is this one for you?

  1. Afraid I don’t see this working as a layering polish either. It’s just so *meh*. And there are now so many layering polishes out there that this is a definite fail for me.

  2. I bought this colour for the ironic name! Sadly it is still in my untrieds…never thought of layering it though! Great thought!
