I didn’t really get on board with OPI’s Spanish themed collection (or the “Coleccion de Espana, if you will) of a couple of years ago. I have a few of them but they don’t really seem to register on my radar – I don’t think it was a particularly exciting collection.
This one, for example, just screams “staple OPI”, doesn’t it? I really like it though, having said that. It’s a nice jellyish berry shade. OK, so it reminds me odf a million OPIs from collections gone by. It’s a little bit red, a little bit pink and a whole lot of OPI cliche.
It is super flattering actually but I do recall that this one took a good few coats before it reached opacity on me. Annoying.
I don’t have a lot else to say about this one and in all honesty, I wouldn’t look to this as one of your lemmings (as I know “safe” shades are a hit with a lot of Just Nice Things readers) as it was actually discontinued at the end of 2011. Still, there are a lot of similar shades out there so I wouldn’t fret too much.
