Apparently it looks like I’ve dipped my fingers in custard. Well I know some of you are sick of pastels but I love this and yellow is my favourite pastel shade. I had wanted a car in this colour but came to my senses and went for black. I think trying to sell a pastel yellow car would cause me a lot of hindrance.
Any way, Lemon Sorbet looks identical to Models Own’s Lemon Meringue from the outside (I have bought Models Own but not tried it). I went for three coats for total opacity and to eliminate streaking but no top coat.
Pastels are tricky to paint with the problem of streaking and I did notice that occuring slightly with Nubar hence the need for three layers but other than that scare, this is a dream colour to paint on your nails. I have a feeling it will look really cute on the toes too. What do you think?

I am still looking for the “right” yellow. This is nearly what I want but still too bright. Ho hum. Bloggers have suggested I try a franken but if I have a polish it’s because I like it and I don’t want to sacrifice it to a potential/probable fiasco.
That looks lovely on you – so fresh and summery. The application looks amazing too.
Thanks lovely! It’s always a shame when I have to remove it after a couple of days in order to try a different colour. I will be wearing this one for sure once the weather brightens up.
Your nails look yummy! I haven’t eaten custard in a long time. Love Nubar’spastels. This really looks gorgeous on you. Those yellow shades are hard tp resost.
Yellow is amazing, gets me in the mood for spring but I really want to try Essie’s Mint Candy Apple now!
so pretty with your skin tone!!
Bless you, Beatriz. Thank you.
