Here we have a shade that was a bit of a surprise. I think it was the result of an online order where you’re not 100% sure if a polish is going to match the
picture that you see on the screen. Blissful isn’t one of Nubar’s most championed varnishes, you see – in fact I don’t recall ever seeing it on any other blog.
It’s pretty, isn’t it?
A kind of purple / brown hybrid, you can tell from the tipwear in the photos that I wore this one for a while. It made me feel grown up. And
kind of ladylike. Does that make any sense whatsoever?
I think Blissful isn’t a bad name for this. It’s not the most memorable polish I’ve ever used, but there is something just nice and right about it.
It is also one of the nicest foils I’ve ever tried. I know foils aren’t everyone’s cup of tea but I am constantly discovering that actually, I rather like them.
So what do you think? I fancy this as an everyday, work appropriate type polish that has a definite autumnal slant to it. I think it would go with most outfits as well. Hmmm.
Just looking back at the photos makes me realise just how much I like it, in fact. I think I might be tempted to go and put it on again.
I’m impressed that Nubar keep surprising me with these polishes that seem so unassuming in the bottle. See, it doesn’t always have to be holographic, or duochrome, or glittery to be a good polish that I want to wear again and again. What do you think?

I think it looks great. Very flattering. I’m really falling for browns in a big way. This deserves a lot more love.
This is beautiful, I really love the colour xxx
i think it’s very pretty and fitting for the COLD weather we are having!

That is purty! I love foils. I’ll have to add this to my list of Nubar “wants”. You would have to make me want another polish! Looks gorgeous on you. I don’t blame you for wanting to wear this again.
This is beautiful Helen! I’m yet to but any Nubar polishes but I have a long list of the ones I want, all seen on your blog!
Very, very nice. Reminds me a lot of an Orly shade (cannot think of the name) that I like. Very nice Helen!
