With less than a week to go before Christmas, there’s no doubt people are rushing to finish (or even start) their hunt in finding the right presents. If you’re not feeling inspired from the usual suspects found on the shelves, allow me to introduce the Indulgence Collection from luxury haircare brand Neal and Wolf.
Christmas for me had certainly come early when I was sent this gift set to try. I have never tried Neal and Wolf products but I instinctively knew there was something special about them even just from the quality and design of the packaging.
This limited edition gift set contains a Ritual Daily Cleansing shampoo (250ml), a Daily Conditioner (200ml) and a Harmony Intensive Care Treament (200ml), suitable for all hair types.
Flipping back the lid, you are hit with an utterly gorgeous sweet fragrance. It boast an infusion of silk and milk proteins combined to boost vital moisture and reduce flyaway hair with liquid shea extract to deliver a brilliant shine. The shampoo, which is clear, lathers up easily and one wash is enough rather than overloading your scalp with excessive product. I also tried the Harmony Intensive Care Treatment as a weekly treatment and this is ideal for when your locks are in dire need of repair.
So how does my hair feel? Beautiful, soft and easy to manage, and yes, it shines. I find that with some products the distribution doesn’t quite even out, with my roots feeling greasy and heavy, which leads me to believe I’ve used too much. I’ve been more stringent than usual in the amount of shampoo I use and with Neal and Wolf, this is no exception. It also satisfies me that the product truly works without the compulsion to add more.
The best thing about the Indulgence range (apart from the price) is that it encapsulates a luxurious product created for every day use. My worry with professional haircare collections is they might be too concentrated for regular use so digging deep in your pocket doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll get a good deal. Neal and Wolf have hit the nail on the head and come up with a range that leaves your hair fresh and healthy at truly affordable prices. It also is good news for me as I am always having to wash my hair every day when I’d rather not.
As I mentioned earlier, I knew this brand meant luxury and luxury usually commands a high price so it came as a surprise that individually, the shampoo and conditioner only cost £10.95 and £11.95 respectively.
Many haircare brands bring out gift sets for the festive season, but very few evoke such delight and beauty as this collection from Neal and Wolf. If I was buying this for someone, I’d want one set for myself too. That’s always a good sign…
