Sheenie’s already blogged about our fab day out yesterday, and I wanted to show you what came home with me. I wasn’t intending to spend much money but I was in a foul mood yesterday when I got up and realised someone had driven into the side of my car, leaving a LOT of damage. It’s only five months old and I am devastated, as is going to cost me a fortune, as well as my no claims bonus.
So, I needed some Nice Things to cheer me up.

I’m very pleased with this little lot, and can’t wait to try them out. I also got an Illamasqua lipgloss, which will be shown at a later date. It was good fun at the Illamasqua counter yesterday as the company was celebrating its 1st Birthday, and the make-up that everyone was sporting was simply sublime. I am absolutely kicking myself for not taking photos of Adam and Mika as they looked amazing. We also met Nic from Pixiwoo for a little chat (about wedding dresses and diets, randomly enough!).
I’m now settling down to watch last night’s Strictly. If it weren’t for the evil car stuff, I would have had the perfect weekend.

Ooooh ooooh OOOOOHHH! I’m compiling a list of shops to visit when we hit London next year – where did you get the Nubars? Bummer about the car – hope the pretty things made the day a bit better!

July next year – we’re in England for about two weeks, haven’t decided how long the London part of the trip will be yet (I vote for, like, ALL of it), but yes lunch would be absolutely awesome if time allows.
I can’t wait to see all of those on you! Especially Purple Rain, as I’ve been considering getting that for some time, and the OPI Holidays

What rotten bastard did that to your poor innocent car? So nice not to leave a phone number. I’m so sorry for you. It’s so upsetting when that happens. Just dealing with everyone to get the car fixed is a gigantic pain. Big hugs to you sweetie!
