This is going to be a short and sweet post. As you know, I am swatching my polishes brand by brand. Some, like OPI, are going to be seriously daunting, and others, like this, didn’t take too long.
Mermaid was a birthday gift from Sheenie last year. Isn’t it beautiful? This works better as a layering polish. I can’t wait to get this on my nails in the summer months, it is so shimmery and pretty. Yellow and blue tiny flakeys in a green jelly.
Storm is a rather gorgeous gun metal grey polish shot through with purple flash. Really nice and moody, this was opaque in two coats.
Paparazzi is an utter stunner. If, like me, you like a good blurple, you really need this one in your collection. It’s so pretty and sparkly and like a good budget version of OPI’s Ink. This never disappoints.
Finally, Electric Blue, which I have layered over Paparazzi. Photos do not do this justice – it is one of those perfect polishes that actually made me catch my breath the first time I used it. If you only buy one of these polishes, make it Electric Blue – I promise you won’t regret it.
So there we have it. Better late than never – I know the Accessorize collection has been around for a while! Application of these was so-so, the brush is a tad stubby and splaying, and I don’t like the round lid/handles as they are quite small and I always worry that they are going to go flying out of my hand. But, for budget polishes, these are nicely made and always look good.

I have a couple of these – love their sizes and prices. I do wish Accessorize would expand their range, especially as their polishes and eyeshadows are so good.
