A very quick (and picture heavy) post to show you some of the Models Own polishes I have, in advance of the 50% sale on Friday & Saturday. No words, and apologies for some of the pre-clean-up shots, but as you know, I hate swatching and rarely do it. Anyway – this is about half of my collection. You’ve already seen some, and others will be new to you.
If there are any others you are desperate to see before buying then let me know by 17:00 GMT today and I’ll do my best.

What gorgeous nails! Of course I love all the greens. There are some beautiful shades of polish. Glad I can’t buy them or I’d be in trouble.
I’m definitely ordering Gold Digger and Lemon Meringue – wish the sale started today!

Love the Champagne and the purple grey. I have Utopia but can never seem to do a good job with it – always make a mess!

Green Tea looks matte-ish. How much?
How many coats was Sterling?
How PITA was Spangle to remove?
Emerald City? I’m assuming that was PITA to remove?
Peacock? How many coats?

They are up there with my favourites too. Utopia just requires a steady hand!
No worries.
1) it is more matte than I expected – kind of satiny. Would be great with topcoat and quite unusual. Brighter than I could capture in this photo and I really like it. Recommended.
2) Two coats. You must let the first one dry before applying the second, but it dries fast.
3) You need to press a remover soaked pad to your nails for a good five mins before sweeping it all away in one go. You need a tissue handy to capture the particles as they dont absorb into the cotton wool and go all over your hands.
4) As above re the soaking
5) Two coats 🙂

THANK YOU so much for all the pictures of Models Own. I was trying to decide which ones I wanted from their sale, and now I know that I won’t be disappointed no matter which I pick (lots of blues, grays, a couple of purples, and the dusty green!

Your nails would look soo much better if they werent so long and you filed them! why so long?
