Good morning, everyone. Today I have a polish from the long-losr OPI British collection for you. I’ve blogged about a few of these previously and all I think every time I see one is how disappointed I was in this collection. Maybe because I’m English, perhaps I just wanted better things?
Any way. I do like the name of this one – it is one of OPI’s silly puns but it entertains me. For those who don’t know, London Bridge Is Falling Down is one of those songs you learn in infant school and somehow never forget the words to. Apologies to those of you who now have this going round and round in your head.
So, apart from the fact that 90% of the polishes in this collection actually look more or less the same, the formula wasn’t brilliant either. I found the cremes to be runny and thin and lacking in opacity. This one was a bit sticky and strange, as you can probably tell from the rather blurry photo above. It’s not exactly my definition of brown either – this is a weird red hybrid.
So. Meh. Despite the fact that this is one of the antique collectible OPIs that I always have a weakness for, I’m afraid that this one is in the pile marked “future blog sale”. What do you think?
I think it’s one of those colours that really suit your nails. It’s how long nails are ‘meant’ to look. Personally I’d definitely buy it except I’m not allowing myself to.
I actually like this one! I think I would fall for a red like this.
PS: I have the song stuck in my head now…. :S
Beautiful color!
