A beauty advent calendar is utter genius – a different beauty product behind every door in the run-up to Christmas Day. I don’t remember who came up with the very first one but since the er, advent of it, there is no shortage of them from nail polishes to skincare. In fact it’s pretty hard to decide which one to go for. Oh and I am talking about an advent calendar for yourself here. Sure, it makes a wonderful pre-Christmas present but you can’t deny it’s something you want too.
New from L’Occitane is their first-ever advent calendar* and if you love what they do, you will be going potty for one of these. It’s filled with 24 Provençal treats including a selection of their best-selling products like (my favourite) Shea Butter hand cream. In other words, there is not going to be one duff thing hidden behind a door. If you’ve never tried L’Occitane, this is a superb way to become better acquainted with some of their beautifying treats. If you’re already familiar then the little sample sizes are going to either end up in your handbag or your suitcase.
There are a selection of hand creams, soaps, fragrances, shower gels and other lotions for the face and body as well as some extra surprises. Absolutely fantastic and put together beautifully, I am most certainly looking forward to opening the first door on 1st December.
L’Occitane’s advent calendar is priced at £39 and is definitely available in their Covent Garden boutique but don’t dilly-dally as it is limited edition and has currently sold out online (new stock is expected in two weeks but you will have to sign up for notification when it is available.) Do check other boutiques for stock.
