Over the last few months I decided to try something new as over the winter my skin became very tired and dry. For the last three years or so I had been using Elemis, which initially gave me very good results but more recently seemed to be doing nothing for my skin. I also felt that it really was becoming very expensive sticking to the Elemis and although I am quite fussy about what I use that it really was time to find something that was better value.
For the past seven or eight years I have suffered from psoriasis mostly on my scalp but as its worst it was all over my face and neck. Therefore I try not to put too many chemicals on my face. For many years I was a Clarins girl but once my psoriasis was under control and I could use normal products again I moved onto the Japaense Shu Uemura range. I really loved this range but it is very expensive and when I moved to Scotland was going to be difficult to get hold of.
A work colleague wanted to try a Korres scrub she had read about and asked
if I knew any sites on the internet where she could find it. I had a nosey at the products and really liked the sound of them. As they try to use mostly organic ingredients and most importantly for my skin their skincare is mineral oil free, propylene glycol free, and ethanolamine free.
I started off with their wild rose 24hr moisturiser for normal to dry skin and was very quickly impressed. Within days my skin was no longer dry and tired looking. It does initially feel a tad oiler than my other moisturisers but after 10 mins or so has sunk in nicely and feels
beautiful. I just make sure I put it on at lease 20 minutes before applying make up.
Impressed with how good my skin was looking and by how long the tub of moisturiser was lasting I decided to try some other products.
I now have the evening primrose eye cream which is a nice cream no magical claims but is a nice light well moisturising eye cream.
I also bought the milk proteins 3 in 1 cleanser (has toner in it and is a nice gentle eye make up remover). I am not big on toner so it suited me not to buy a separate one. It is a lovely moisturising cleanser and you can either leave it on or wash it off. I tend to wash it off most of the time but if my skin has had a bashing I will leave it on at nightime. It removes my eyeliner, mascara etc with no problems.
I excitedly bought the watermelon SP20 sunscreen for my sunny top down driving days. Sadly we haven’t had much sun up here but the couple of times I have tried it my face has not burned. I am not keen on any face sunblocks as I find them greasy and smelly. This is nice as it smells of watermelon and once it sinks in isn’t horribly greasy.
I also treated myself to the wild rose lip balm. It is lovely and moisturising and has a hint of colour (five of the range have a hint of colour) which is great for people like me who are too lazy to wear any make up for work.
I have to say I am really impressed by this range the products are simple but suit my skin and are not full of nasty ingredients. They are also great value for money so much so my budget may extend to being able to use their masks/scrubs etc rather than buying cheapys. Looking forward to trying their hand cream although it will take a lot to make me abandon my Aveda hand cream.
Prices I paid are: 3 in 1 cleanser 200ml £14.00, Moisturiser 40ml £19.00, Eye cream 30ml £22.50, Sunscreen 50ml £13.oo, Lip balm 6g £6.00

Very helpful and detailed post – I like Korres and have used the SPF30 very successfully, also like the TM which has an SPF30 too – modestybrown did a review of it a few weeks ago.
