Nixxy Rocks!
We set up a little swap a while back and my package from her arrived this morning. I swear it was like Christmas had come early.
Not only did she send me a range of polishes that she can no longer use (due to her evil allergy to formaldehyde resin) she was also super generous and included a few surprises. I’m currently staring in awe at some of the most fabulous make-up I’ve ever seen!
All from Aussie brand BYB, I am the proud owner of a silver glitter eyeliner, silver and black glitter mascara (wooowwww!), a silver and black glitter kohl pencil, eye glitter with liquid gel activator (oh yeah!) and the coolest lipgloss ever that has a mirror on the side and the cap actually lights up when you pull it out, thus making those “I need to put my lipgloss in on the dark” moments a thing of the past!

Oooooo! Look at all the glittery things!! I especially like that one at the front which I presume is the eye glitter with liquid gel activator. Let me know what that’s like!

So glad everything arrived intact! My work sells all those BYS cosmetics so I have an endless supply of them 🙂
It took me awhile to realise that the mirror on the lipgloss wasn’t awful – it just had a bit of protective film over the top of it – duh! But now I love mine to death and use it everyday. Very nifty idea, whoever thought of it.

If I worked somewhere that sold that type of cool stuff I think my pay would be significantly reduced…it’s amazing.
I am swatching away, never fear! I’m not a great swatcher though as I like to wear colours for a few days so I don’t have a huge backlog of pics – it’s all done in more or less realtime.
Why don’t you post a swap request on your blog and see who agrees? Normally I’d say yes like a shot but I’m cutting back for the next few months whilst I’m in wedding-save mode. Well, til I see something you guys can get and I can’t – I might change my mind PDQ then!
