Eyedew by Optrex

Read Time:1 Minute, 30 Second

At the time you’ll be reading this, I will have already had my office Christmas party. However, there’ll be plenty more drinking and revelry over the next couple of weeks, where you spend more time worrying about your sore head and painful feet than the rest of your usual healthy regime.

I’d like to introduce you to a little life-saver of mine, not just during the festive season, but all year round. I often suffer from itchy eyes, either from hay fever, dust allergies, cat fur or wearing too much mascara. I was actually turned on to Optrex’ Eyedew products by a particularly hideous flatmate I once had. He thought he was God’s gift to women, and taught me the benefit of using these eye drops.

And what do you know, he was right. Either of these little bottles of genius turn your red, bloodshot and sorry-for-themselves eyes into sparkling and whiter than white peepers. I often use these if I have had a bad night’s sleep, or have been rubbing my eyes too much from removing my make-up.

I don’t know how they work, but they work. I don’t think they’re medicated so I would steer clear if you have an eye infection, but for purely cosmetic use, I’d recommend you snap some up. Not only so you can flutter your pretty, dazzling eyes at the office hunk, but so that your Satanic soul mirrors don’t scare him away in the morning. By the way, I keep mine in the fridge  – the eyedrops, I mean, not the office hunk.

A 10ml bottle costs around £4.00. To find out more, click here.

  1. Whilst these are good for occasionally use, if you use them all the time your eyes will actually end up redder, as they have to compensate for always being chemically constricted. Fine for occasional use but don’t use everyday.
