Do any of you own anything that is so beautiful you actually don’t want to use it?
I feel that way about this Chanel eyeshadow palette. I know it’s stupid, after all, it’s only powder in gold, silver and white, but look how pretty it is.
I adore the sequin design as well, apparently inspired by the detailed designs of Chanel’s master embroiderers.
I bought this in duty free a few years ago and it has sat resplendant in my make-up bag since then.
You can see where I’ve scuffed away at the edges on the rare occasions that I have tried it out, bit I just can’t bring myself to mess it up.
So here we have a product review of something I haven’t actually tried. Oh well. For now you can just cast your eyes over something extremely pretty.

I remember seeing this in a magazine and wondering how anyone could ever bring themselves to use it! Now I know: they *don’t*….

I think if there was a religion built upon Chanel cosmetics, I would sign up. The beautiful cult of the double C’s! Maybe we could make a C with each hand in greeting.

Chanel makes such pretty things. Do you have any of the nail polishes? You’d love them.
This is a beautiful eye shadow. There are many shadows that I wonder how anyone could use them. The pattern of sequins is just lovely. I also love the shadow colors. I remember seeing some ones blog or flickr pictures who had tons of makeup. She had loads of these beautiful eye shadows, blushes and bronzers. I at first thought why don’t you use any of them. But then I also saw how lovely they are and how can you bear to spoil them! This is really a tough one.
I know how you feel, I got the Coromandels de Chanel compact what must be a few years ago now, and I just can’t bring myself to use it. It’s so pretty!
Chanel is one of my favourite brands. I always feel quite decadent when I use my chanel compact and lip gloss! Their Inimitable mascara is my all time favourite!
