I have sooo much stuff to go through to review and bring to you, and I’m getting to the stage where I feel as though I’m keeping Parcelforce in business – not to mention the calls from the bank to say “is this really you with all that activity?” So enough is enough. I still have 90 or so OPI colours to write about, plus various hair & beauty products and tips, so I won’t be running out of things to post on for quite some time.
Addicts actually call it going on a “low buy / no buy” phase, whereby you can break your vow of abstinence for something beautiful/essential but that is all.
The final purchase for a while is a Konad system. It’s quite popular over in America, and looks like quite a cool way to get art and designs onto your nails. I like to think that I have only chosen classy, non-tacky images but I’ll let you be the judge of that when I put some photos up of my work.
I am mentally patting myself on the back for only ordering six stencil plates (ha!) – each one has about seven designs on it – and resolutely refusing to buy the “special” Konad polish that you’re meant to use with the system. I don’t need any more varnish. And also how can it not work with normal nail polish? It’s only a stencil after all.
Well – we’ll see. I’ve had to order the system from an Irish seller on Ebay so I don’t know how long it’ll take to arrive. I might want to practice first before I bring it to you as well as it is meant to be a bit tricky to get the hang of. We’ll see.
I’m off to work out how to pay my credit card bill now – any ideas please let me know!
I wonder how much I’d get for my soul on Ebay? “One careful lady owner….”
