OK, sorry for the blurriness of this photo but like I always say, I prefer a colour-true shot to one that is perfectly in focus but skewed in terms of what the colour really looks like.
Shade 36 is one that I was kindly sent to try out from the 2true range available exclusively in Superdrug.
Very impressive. This is a lovely colour. A fairly standard maroon-y pink but what makes this stand out is the flecks of gold shimmer and glimmer. This really is good for what is a total budget polish.
Having
said that, it is pretty sheer. This was three coats and it could probably have done with another. But it dried incredibly fast. I didn’t need to bother with any Seche or fast drying topcoat as it was dry all by itself inside 15 minutes. I think because the brush is small (but with pretty good format) you can’t pick up too much from the bottle, thus meaning thin coats are essential.
I am really impressed with this. It reminds me of OPI’s Catherine The Grape (one of my favourite polishes and one I haven’t got round to reviewing, believe it or not) but with more orange and gold shimmer.
At about £2.00 for 9ml you really can’t go wrong here. And I’m not just saying that because I was sent it to test, I genuinely think it’s a great colour,
with pretty good application and wear. I didn’t get it to five days, but none of my manicures make it to five days!
So, all in all, this is highly recommended. I’m looking forward to see what the rest of the line has in store. In fact, I’d already bought one of these (blue glitter) for my swap with Mary…I’m hoping she’s got her parcel by now and I haven’t ruined any surprises! So, does stocking up on £2.00 polishes count when you’re on a no-buy??

Oh this looks like an amazing one – it has such a unique color 🙂
Beautiful shade and that gold shimmer puts it over the top. Love that!
This is actually a really pretty colour! I haven’t tried any of the nail varnishes from 2true, might have to pick this one up!
Glad you had a nice holiday! x
Your nails look lovely. I like this color. A nice shimmer makes things even better.
