Zoya Pasha

I know I’ve reviewed Pasha before. But fear not, we haven’t got to the stage when I am re-reviewing everything I own. In fact, far from it. Trust me, if you could see the size of my untrieds, you know we are going to be in business for quite some time.

However, this polish deserves an award for being the first one I felt strongly enough about to actually show you it again. I know a lot of people who really dislike this varnish, and I totally understand why they don’t like it, but to me it is absolute perfection.

What you see here is a manicure that I did the week before I got married in June. The reason being that I was concerned that I would break a nail in the run-up to the wedding. OK, that might not have been as much of a travesty as the cake, the flowers, or heaven forbid, the groom not turning up, but, you know, I wanted my nails to remain in good nick.

So I painted this on a week before the big day, safe in the satisfaction that I would not get bored of the colour (I find it strangely tranquil) and also knowing that this lasts and lasts on me, and still looks good after five or more days. Brilliant.

To me, Pasha is like the ultimate comfy shoes or pair of jeans that you return to time and time again as it always looks good and seems to last forever. High praise from me. And Zoya, for that, I thank you.

  1. I’m glad that you have shown this again, your new photos of it are gorgeous. Your nails look a lot better. I can’t imagine someone disliking Pasha!

  2. Andrea – Thanks. This is a really old pic as well, I think my nails are looking even better now.

Jenni – Ha! It’s not impolite. Variety is the spice of life and all that 🙂

  3. I am a full blown Zoya convert. Tried one of their polishes (the beautiful Isla) a month it so ago and I’m hooked! This color is beautiful too, Helen. I have found Zoya to be far longer wearing than either OPI, Essie or even Channel. In 30 years of having fun doing my naiks, this us the best polish (quakity wise) I’ve ever used. I’m a devotee now and have added at least 6 more bottles o far to my collection, with the gorgeous Bela (featured in Black Swan) on the way to my doorstep. Please post more Zoya color reviews!!

  4. I love Pasha, and am pleased to report that it tends to look a little pinker in person. It’s a great color to “live in” for awhile, you’re right about that.
