It’s hard to believe that next month we will be half way through the year. That is terrifying! On the other hand, it does mean summer is nearly on our doorsteps so cue a change in wardrobe of clothes, shoes, make-up and fragrances.
Thierry Mugler’s Angel has been given a fresh make-over for summer with the limited edition Eau Sucree*, which literally translates as ‘sweetened water’. Even the points on the star bottle are sprinkled with ‘sugar’.
The original Angel is notorious for its iconic bottle and for its chocolate-infused scent, the latter which either makes people retch or mesmerises them. Angel Eau Sucree is a big surprise – refreshingly tangy with top notes of red fruits sorbet, caramelised meringue notes at the heart and a base of vanilla and patchouli. I haven’t stopped wearing it since I got it!
It is lighter fragrance and a pleasant alternative to the original, and fans of Angel will want to snap this up. Angel Eau Sucree comes in a non-fillable 50ml bottle as an eau de toilette and costs £45.
