If you’re looking for a new body cream that is hydrating and worlds part from the usual sweet varieties on the market, it might be worth your while to give this one from to SAI-SEI a try.
SAI-SEI’s meaning is birth and renewal and honours the principles of Japan’s ancient hot springs, known as Onsen where therapeutic waters are used to cleanse, restore and reinvigorate the mind, body and spirit. (Ooh, I need me some of that.) The packaging itself is very simple and in typical Japanese fashion (think Muji).
This enriched hydrating cream has a very cool, aquatic scent and combines essential minerals including Sodium, Potassium, Calcium and Magnesium with Uji Green Tea for longer lasting moisture (Uji is a famous tea growing region in Japan) and Rice Bran for soft skin. Conditioning Tsubaki Oil and Squalane also help to lock in moisture. So in short there are lots of vitamins and amino acids in this pot to keep your skin supple.
How does it feel? Well it absorbs quickly without leaving a sticky residue and rehydrates amazingly. It is also paraben-free but 200ml of this stuff will set you back £32.
If you are in the mood for a splurge, it could well be worth exploring the range. SAI-SEI is available from Space NK stores and Space NK online.
