Above is a sneak preview of the new Modern Metallica collection from Rococo Nail Apparel. Inspired by the Rococo period there are five molten metal shades and I was fortunate to see them last night at a special Space NK event, where I had a manicure done from the range.
I’m wearing the golden Alcazar, a colour I normally wouldn’t go for as I am a sucker for dark shades, but this is stunning I have to admit. I have struggled to find a decent gold polish that doesn’t streak upon application – Alcazar layered on beautifully and opaque in two coats.
The other shades are, from top to bottom in the first picture: Glam Roc (champagne metallic), Mysterioso (with a tinge of pink), Dollar (silver) and New Geisha (lilac grey).
The Modern Metallica collection hits Space NK shops and at uk.spacenk.com in the new year (correct me if I’m wrong!), priced at £12 each. What do you think?
