Orly Faint Of Heart

A quick post for you today. Here we have Orly’s Faint of Heart which was released earlier this year as part of Orly’s Spring collection.

This is a lovely grey creme. Perhaps not all that original but it does contain microscopic pieces of  black…stuff. It’s not glitter, as it doesn’t shimmer or shine, therefore, its stuff, right?

These Orly miniature polishes are definitely the cream of the miniature offerings out there. Although they lack the trademark Orly rubberised handle, they still handle (ho ho) remarkably well and apply, if not as well as the full sized Orly polishes, definitely better than other small bottles (yes OPI, I am looking at you). I just wish that these £5.00 Orly mini mani’s (so twee) were available in more Boots stores – I’ve only ever seen them in the one next door to Bond Street tube station.

Just as a side note, I don’t think I’d ever wear this shade on my toes, but I love it on my fingers. Why is that? Does anyone else feel the same, or do you wear the same polishes as both manicure and pedicure? I just prefer brights for my toes – I’ve never ever worn anything like an aubergine vamp on my toes either, although I know a lot of people love that kind of colour as a pedicure polish. What do you think?
