A little confession. My other half adores hotel entertainment. You know, the cheesy stuff you get in family resorts, with Juan bashing out version after
version of Sweet Caroline on his Casio keyboard, often with a bizarre mambo beat. You name it. we’ve sat through it on holiday. A reworking of “We Will Rock You”, Native American fireaters, magicians…the list is endless. And includes the obligatory flamenco dancers.
So, back to the main event – OPI’s Pink Flamenco. As if the name didn’t give it away, this is from OPI’s Colección de España. And yes, it’s very pink.
OPI make a million of these shades, and the only
way I can think of to describe this is like…. you know when you’re having a few drinks, and yet one of those drinks just somehow hits the spot and tastes better than the other drinks of that evening… does that make sense to anyone? Or do I just sound like a tipsy nail blogger?
Any way. What I really mean is that OPI nake a million pink cremes. Indeed, you can see a fair few of them on here. This is by no means unique, interesting or different. But for some reason, this hits the spot. It might be the two-coat application (nice and thick, yay) or the fact that it’s a genuinely pretty shade. Who knows? I can’t put my finger on it,
which probably isn’t what you want to hear from a so-called sector expert.
So, let me just say that if you’re in the market for a timeless pink berrycreme then this certainly has my stamp of approval. Even if the name of it does make me think of dodgy Spanish hotel entertainment.
Pink Flamenco is part of the OPI Colección de España mini set that was kindly sent to me free of charge by Radiant Babe

This looks more of a cool pink in your photos than my bottle is. I actually think it’s an unusual pink as it looks so different on me in different lights. The application is always lovely, so I would definitely recommend this one.
Hmm pink nails. They are lovely and sexy…:)
Your other half is just adorable liking that kind of entertainment! Love this shade on you. It does hit the spot. A nice thick creme is wonderful. I hate when cremes are very thin and runny. This just looks special on you.
There is nothing like a good pink – I bought La pazitively (I think it is called) from OPI years ago, it is still going strong and is my “to go” toe varnish. Thanks for the post and pics Janx
