This is one of the first OPI polishes I bought when I started “hauling” like a woman possessed. The start of this blog coincided with the launch of the OPI South Beach collection and so, like a moth to a flame, I started collecting.
I think I spent most of 2009 with this as a pedicure colour – I do like rules and instructions, and so
constantly painted my toes with this shade. In fact, I very rarely wore it on my fingers and I’m not entirely sure why, as looking at these photos, I really rather like it. It is a creamy red that has a good amount of pink in it – not quite berry and not quite coral. I suppose some people might find this pretty boring and textbook OPI but that doesn’t mean that it isn’t a nice shade, as looking back on it here, I think that it is.
Overall though, I don’t think that the South Beach collection was one of OPI’s best. I can’t really recall one stand out shade from it, it seemed to be a very safe collection with no must-haves in it. Can anyone correct me?
Anyway, this is exactly that. Safe, boring but rather timeless. Looking at it now, I actually want to wear it, which is strange as I must have passed over this in my stash many, many times over the past three years.
Also, I’m writing this at 7am shortly after returnung from a rather extravagant hen party and the thought of a mojito isn’t overly pleasant…

You are right Helen, the South Beach collection was nothing special. I think I got 2 of them but not this one. It’s lovely but not really a must have.
Ohhh now I like that one, perfect toe colour.
Ohhh that is a lovely colour. I can see why you’d wear it more as a pedicure colour – I think I’d love to do my toes in that too. xx
I love this colour, I’d totally wear this on my hands.
This makes a wonderful manicure. So bright & pretty. Wear it more often.
