OPI Edin-Burgundy - Just Nice Things

OPI Edin-Burgundy

Read Time:1 Minute, 19 Second

I’m on a bit of a roll at the moment with these OPI British polishes. I don’t know why – they just seem to be at the top of all my unposted photos.

Here we have Edin-Burgundy, which is jut a fantastic name. I’ve been to Edinburgh a couple of times and really enjoyed myself. I really like the atmosphere and the architecture and the general ambience. It’s great for a night out too – I went there on a hen party once and had a brilliant time. It’s just such a shame that it’s so far away!

I’m noticing a bit of a trend at the moment among nail bloggers for loving sheer coloured polishes. Seriously, I’m seeing the phrase “squishy jelly” on practically every blog post I am reading at the moment.

Personally, I have little to no interest in sheer jelly polishes. I just can’t get on with the visible nail line thing. Am I obsessed? Naturally, I don’t mind it if I’m wearing a sheer pink or a deliberately light colour but to me, something like this just looks a bit messy and that you couldn’t be bothered to add that last coat.

Bearing in mind that this collection appeared about the time that OPI were messing about with their 3-Free formula, I don’t know if it is deliberately meant to be on the sheerer side, or if its just a bit…crap. Either which way, it’s in the pile to sell so if rare OPIs / “squishy jellies” are your thing, then watch this space.

The colour is lovely though.
