This is a much-longed for polish that I was sent in my swap with Mary. She is such a legend. I mentioned on a blog post absolutely ages ago that I had seen this in Selfridges but held back on buying it as it was over £16 and I just couldn’t bring myself to spend that.
So Mary came to my rescue once again. I know she had some trauma about this, thanks to some idiotic Ebay seller, 
but she persevered, which I am really grateful for as I was so happy to receive this in our swap.
Jewel is not a holographic polish like so many from the Designer Series range. I can live with that though, as it is so pretty. It changed colour depending on the light, and ranged from brown, to dark pink, to red, and copper.
Application was ok. This was three coats as it was really sheer and I was worried that the visible nail line wouldn’t go away. Really I needn’t have worried as the third coat took care of it and it was perfectly opaque and dazzling.
What I love about this polish, and the reason I really wanted it is because it contains pink glitter in a brown base. How cool is that? I love it. It shimmers and sparkles and is really like nothing else I own. Even though it is unique though, I think the shade is such that it would go with more or less any outfit, and I also reckon you could get away with it at work too.

Is this the one you saw at the Illamasqua dare to be different event? It really is lovely. I do like that colour.
This one is fab totally the kind of colour I love. Actually reminds me a bit of a Hard Candy one I had years back

I think so yes. Or it was Illuminate, which Mary also sent me- they are both very similar, but beautiful.

Gorgeous! I love this shade on you. Very pretty. Love the flash of color that this shade has. I’m trying to get all of the DS Series. Only there are many discontinued.
Well….I believe the polish fairies from America are going to be sending some this way soon. Not sure if it’s going to be on sale in the UK as yet – will have to find out for you.
There are so many that are noe HTF. Why do companies do that?? The DS is a massvie collection – you are one ambitious lady!
I always go to Beauty First near my office and I got really lucky as they were having an amazing sale and I got this color plus 3 other DS colors for only $5.00 each.
