I’m still steadily working through my Nars collection for you. We are nearly there – you’ve seen all my duos here but I do have a few of the single shadows to show you.

Generally I’m not a huge fan of the singles, as they are a lot of faff (the duos are just spoiling me I suppose) but that hasn’t stopped me from acquiring a few. Here we have Himalayas, which is a frosty pale pink that holds more than a hint of duochrome. In some lights it appears white, and in others a blue tinged pink. Sooo pretty when the light catches it – I often use this as a highlighter.
Lulu is a deep purple matte. Not all that unique but has that fab Nars staying power and pigment. It goes perfectly with Himalayas and used wet and smudged out, it makes a fantastic liner.

This is a look I like for spring. Not too over the top and softer without my usual liquid liner – definitely work appropriate. What do you think? Do you have any Nars singles to recommend?

Very pretty shadow. Nice soft makeup look also. Will it kill you to smile? I’m sorry. I’m just a smiley person. It’s hard for me not to understand people who don’t smile in photos or at each other. Your adorable and have a cute smile!
I do like your posts on these, it’s great to see what the colours mixed together actually look like once on. I’m more of a fan of the colours from your duos post but I guess you have more in store to show us! 😉
If you don’t mind me asking, why is it that you use mostly Nars eyeshadows? Yes, they have some lovely and unusual ones, but they also have some very below average ones. I’m especially not a fan of the single ones. There are much better ones out there for less money.
Hi Laura,
I don’t mind you asking at all. I have a lot of other eyeshadows but for some reason the Nars items are the ones I have blogged about the most. I’ve got lots of other posts scheduled in featuring makeup from other brands (eg I’m wearing a very nice duo from Maybelline today) so stay tuned.
