I cannot believe that this polish didn’t make its way into my collection sooner. Scorch is a rare thing – the purest of the pure white polishes that applied with
no streaking or problems *faints*.
I have been using OPI’s Alpine Snow for so long that it hadn’t really occured to me to try any other white polishes. I thought Alpine Snow was as good as it got, but my bottle was running low and so I thought I’d give Scorch a go.
The first coat was a runny nightmare and I was getting concerned. The second coat was better but still not great. But the third coat? Wow. It transformed a streaky worry into a glossy, rich white creme. Perfection. I had zero bubbles or dragging and this was a joy to look at. You might have to trust me on that one though as I failed to get any photos of it before covering it up with this Konad design.
This was inspired by the ladies over at Pampered & Polished. A little while ago, they blogged about a Nail Rock manicure design that I absolutely loved. It was a gold lace pattern over
a white background and the moment I saw it, I knew it was time for Scorch to have its moment in the sun, and to break out my much neglected Konad kit.
And here’s the result. I really liked wearing this manicure. The pattern is from plate M60, my favourite out of my Konad image plates. It is a double stamp, as you might be able to tell in some places, but overall I was really pleased with it. The only possible thing that nagged at me was that from a distance, my eyes merged the gold and the white, and it looked like I was wearing a strange shade of yellow. But up close – happiness!
So what do you think of this look? I know you don’t see Konad on here very regularly – mainly because I change my polish so often that I can’t be bothered to invest in the time it takes. But once in a while, I like it. And as for Scorch – if you’re in the market for a fabulous white polish to have a change from this season’s vamps and glitters, or to act as a base under neons or nail art, then I highly recommend this one.

I love the design that you did! It looks very elegant and girly! 😀
♥
I think it looks so good that it’s almost not real! Because your nails are so long the detail on the pattern just jumps out like you’ve got gold brocade nails. Love it!
Lovely! From the thumbnail pic it looked almost mint green…perhaps it’s just my screen though.
I really must jump on the Konad bandwagon.
Thanks for this!

Me likey! Me likey A LOT!!! (“,) xXx
I really like it. I cant get to grips with full nail konading at, I never stamp it fully 🙁
You should try (if you haven’t already) China Glaze Sbiw from the christmas collection. It is white perfection. x

I absolutely love this combo, it’s gorgeous!
Love this manicure. It does look green. I love the design. I never wear white polish. I have a few bottles but have never worn them. This looks wonderful on you.
Gorgeous! Just lovely and so even… I am seriously tempted by konad. What gold did you use?
