I love your hair both ways. And, yes, your mum was right about women wanting your hair. I spent YEARS perming my hair to give it waves and curls and nearly destroyed it a few times with this processing. I finally grew it all out about 10 years ago and have never looked back. I actually DO have waves (who knew? Maybe a post childbirth thing?!) and yet I can straighten my hair by blow drying very easily. I think you look gorgeous either way so it’s nice that you are growing it back out and then you can revert back to the straightening iron for those days you want that sleek look. I would think with your waves, your hair would look fabulous with the front part pulled back in a clip as well!
