Please behold one of my proginal nail varnish lemmings. When I was first considering starting this blog, many moons ago, I spent a lot of time reading other blogs, basically in the name of entertainment but also to undertake some research. This polish kept cropping up time and time again in nail 
bloggers favourites and I knew I had to bag a bottle for myself.
Fast forward about two years and I finally have it in my grasp. And I don’t think I’m ever going to let it go! Photos just do not do justice to this piece of nail varnish perfection.
Pure Energy is (obviously) a blue shade – a bright blue shade. Rather than being an outright neon though, it applies like a creme and has the most beautiful shimmer, which is really unusual for something that also dries to a satin finish. I do confess to preferring this with topcoat but I’ve photographed it without here.
Pure Energy might not be the most sophisticated shade out there but I don’t care. Everyone needs some bright blue in their lives and I assure you that if you manage to procure a bottle of this, you won’t be disappointed. It applies beautifully, dries fast and looks amazing. I love it for summer toes, and never fail to receive compliments whenever I wear it.
