I’ve become good friends with Bourjois’s latest new liner, the Pinceau Eyeliner*. ‘Pinceau’ en Francais is ‘brush’ and this liquid liner comes with a 0.5mm brush applicator that executes a perfectly smooth finish every time (provided you have a steady hand). It’s not too soft but it’s not stiff either (oh my…ahem.)
The fluid formula dries quickly to a matte finish and Ultra Black is a deeply intense black. Promising 16 hours wear, the longest I’ve had it on is probably 14 hours without the need to reapply. Yes, I’m not one of those who will diligently remove make-up as soon as I get home. As long as you don’t rub your eyes, it stays on without fading.
A feline flick is a breeze, as is getting close to the lash line. The brush is easy to control whether you want to paint a fine line or build up to a more thicker one, and the handle is crucially comfortable to hold. I’ve always managed to get a neat finish and in a few seconds, which makes a nice change as usually I am rather clumsy with a liner.
I think liquid liners are the easiest to get to grips with, and you can’t get better than this beauty from Bourjois.
Bourjois Liner Pinceau Eyeliner is £6.99 and is available at all Bourjois stands in Boots and Superdrug as well as online.
