Last summer the Body Shop gave us Virgin Mojito…and I said it would be a tough act to follow. This summer it’s a delicious offering with the Pinita Colada collection and if you like pina coladas (like the song), you’ll be all over this.
I know I said I love a virgin mojito, but I also can’t get enough of a (virgin) pina colada thanks to the sweet blend of coconut cream and pineapple, which is precisely what the new collection smells of.
There are four products in the tropical themed range which consists of a shower gel* (£5), exfoliating cream body scrub* (£15), body sorbet* (£8) and body butter (£14). The scrub contains shredded coconut to gently exfoliate and smooth the skin and the soap-free shower gel lathers up nicely, leaving a subtle scent behind. With this being a summer collection, the cooling body sorbet is perfect whilst moisturising and leaving you feeling fresh.
I also noticed the bottle has been redesigned across all of the Body Shop’s shower gels with the lid changed to black and flipping open instead of the push-down style, which gives it a much more contemporary look.
Pinita Colada is limited edition so make the most of this tasty collection which is available online and in store. Now, I wonder what next year will bring…maybe a strawberry daiquiri?
