Hello everyone. I have some more old photos for you today that I found in one of my files. Goodness knows how I actually managed to get anything done over the past three years – I seem to have been forever painting and photographing my nails!

Here we have Andrea Fulerton’s Goldfinger. This is another one of the triple-look nail polishes that were released a year or so ago in Superdrug. Some people loved them, some people were… less impressed … but generally I was quite happy with these.
As you can see, one side is gold, a blackened, antique style shade. I rather like this colour actually – it is exactly the same shade as a dress I have that is one of my favourite wedding outfits.
The other end of the bottle contains a milky white polish. On its own it didn’t really do a lot for me and I was a bit worried when I started applying it over the golden base as I couldn’t see how they would work together. But it became clear once it started drying – look – it’s gone grey!

Isn’t that strange? Or creative or interesting or whatever adjective you want to insert here. Either which way, it is a good method of extending the life of your manicure, and totally changing it to look like something else. As time goes on and I get busier and I dont really have the hours in the evening to change my nail polish every day as I previously did, I am grateful for little shortcuts like this.
What do you think? Have you tried any of these?
