Alpha-H’s Liquid Gold has done wonders for me, giving me a clearer, smoother and brighter complexion. I can’t imagine not living without it and have back-ups in my drawer. It’s truly a life-changing product anyone 30 plus should try. Why haven’t I introduced this to my mum? She will love this!
The Austalian brand is now stocked in over 25 countries and most recently became available on the British high street at Marks & Spencer (prior to that, Alpha-H was only available online and through QVC) so the word about Alpha-H is spreading fast and quite rightly so.
Looking after your skin is what matters to Alpha-H so it comes as no surprise that the brand is campaigning strongly for SPF awareness and has produced a range of highly effective sunscreen products with SPF 50+. I’m far better aware of the need for sunscreen than ever before and wear it on my face every day but it’s still a subject many are either misinformed or clueless over. For example, when we think of sunscreen, we think only to use it during summer when it should be all year round. More over, many of us aren’t using it correctly and equally not checking the use-by date.
To encourage using sunscreen correctly and to raise awareness of the risks of sun damage and skin cancer, Alpha-H has issued supersize tubes of their SPF creams which are all 50+. It has also launched a hand cream, the first one ever to pass the SPF 50 mark and certified.
Most SPF creams and lotions feels plastic, thick, greasy and leave a white residue. Most brands sell too much of it so the product goes to waste or people continue to use it after it’s expired. I can never finish a entire tube or bottle so it annoys me to have to throw it away having paid so much. Alpha-H prides itself on simplicity, integrity, transparency and keeping things to a minimal which is why its SPF range comes in realistic and practical sizes in lightweight packaging.
There are three products in total: Daily Essential Moisturiser SPF 50+, Protection Plus Daily SPF 50+ and Protection Plus Hand Cream SPF 50+. These are hypoallergenic, suitable for all ages and skin types, vegetarian and vegan-friendly, and free from fragrances and parabens. The creams absorb quickly, feel comfortable (smell nice too!) and with correct use offers a strong protection. Below is the Protection Plus Daily SPF 50+ cream, which is flesh-coloured and as you can see, sinks without a trace. I’m heavily suntanned from my recent holiday but the cream adjusts to all skin tones.
What’s more, from each sun care product sold, Alpha-H will donate £1 to support Queensland University’s skin cancer research project. Sadly Australia still has the higest incidence of skin cancer in the world. To learn more about Alpha-H’s campaign, search for #allaboutspf.
Alpha H’s sun care products are available in Marks & Spencer right now until summer, and at double the usual size is only £5 more. Grab these before they’re gone!
