Avon welcomes a spectrum of new colours into its Gel Shine* range and here are a handful to show you what’s on offer.
Glossy, opaque and on trend, you can always count on Avon to deliver and the new additions do not disappoint. Designed to mimic the gel effect without the use of a UV lamp, there are 12 new shades boasting a combination of sultry and electrifying shades that are thick in formula and smooth and quick to apply.
I happily wore Charcoal Smoke (from the Vamp It Up collection) before I broke a couple of nails (in the middle no less). If you look closely, you can see the split in the picture below. *sob*
Apart from a minuscule chip on the edge (standard from lifting and shifting things), the Avon Gel Finish polishes hold up remarkably well, considering how inexpensive they are. This is two coats with a gloss on top. I kept this one for roughly four days before the demise of the two nails forced me to remove the rest.
Unfortunately I can’t tell what the names of the other two polishes are as Avon doesn’t label them on the bottles. I figured out Charcoal Smoke but am taking a guess that the dark pink is Very Berry from Vamp It Up (I know it looks like bright red in the photo!) and the pale grey appears to be Moon Dust from the Pastel collection.
