Last week I had a wedding to go to. Not just any wedding, mind – a big, fat Asian wedding. I’m always disorganised when it comes to dressing up for Asian marital events because it’s quite a complex procedure in getting ready for one. Jewellery, hair, a blinging outfit and crucially, make-up. Henna on the hands is optional (and nice if you can get that done).
Thankfully the arduous task of slapping on the war paint was in the very skilled and talented hands of my beautiful friend, Tanzina who’s behind the blog MakeupAtoZ. If you want to refresh your minds about Tanzina, we have 20 Questions answered by her.
Tanzina is a self-taught make-up artist but seriously, she could give a few pros a run for their money…certainly the one who did the bride’s make-up at the wedding I attended. I love Tanzina’s style – it’s individual, bold and she never ceases to amaze me with the ideas she comes up with.
I wanted to share some photos of Tanzina’s amazing efforts and if you’re not reading her blog or following her on Bloglovin’, Instagram and Twitter, you are missing out. This girl is extremely creative and stunning to boot.

Among the products used were Illamasqua’s Hydra Veil and Skin Base, Urban Decay’s concealer (it’s a chubby pencil which I must get!) and the eyes were a blend of Urban Decay’s Naked Palette, a pigment from Inglot and Illamasqua’s Pure Pigment in Beguile with Eylure false lashes.
Tanzina, I can’t wait for you to do my make-up again! And please start making YouTube videos.
