Hello. It’s me. How things have changed since I last posted. The months that have passed since the country went into lockdown from the Covid-19 pandemic has given me a lot of time to think, as it probably has for many of you.
I have been working from home every day since Friday the 13th (of March). I have had two weeks off in June and spent it at home. I’ve learned how to crochet thanks to watching Bella Coco on YouTube. My holiday to Prague was cancelled and I’ve shelved my end of year travel plans because I have no intention of going abroad this year. I had my first cut and colour of the year a couple of weeks ago but my brows haven’t been touched for four months.
I am actually content although it’s sad that it’s taken a catastrophic and life-changing event to come to the realisation that I have been consumed by a lot of things that don’t pose much significance especially when stuck at home. I am pretty horrified at how much make-up and skincare products I have accumulated and how little I am using (especially make-up). I have lost interest in new products (I recoil in horror at the steep prices) and the only items I am interested in purchasing are PJs and house plants.
This leads me onto what I am thinking about doing next with the blog. (Actually, is anyone reading blogs? Some of my favourite bloggers have momentarily pressed pause.) Well I do have a few reviews I am planning to write in between cooking, house work, food shopping, reading, binge watching box sets and relaxing. Right now, I just wanted to pop in and say hello, and I hope you are all safe and well.
