Illamasqua's Reflection Palette - Just Nice Things

Illamasqua’s Reflection Palette

I’ve finally got round to using Illamasqua’s Reflection palette from The Sacred Hour. It’s received a lot of attention because of its fascinating silky texture.

The shadows are water resistant, easy to blend and hold up really well but you need your fingers to apply it because of the formula. Brushes are no good when the product is soft and subtle in appearance, besides it will only stick to the hairs and not to your skin.

Reflection does prove to be a great base to pack colour over be it neutral or dramatic or indeed you can wear it on its own. I used Precipice (Soft Lemon) and Dart (Toasted Bronze) from Reflection combined with Vintage and Obsidian from the Neutrals palette to create a nude look.

I was worried Reflection would be difficult to apply and I was dubious about using my fingers because I’ve never had to when it comes to eye make-up but I have been proven wrong on both accounts. This is a lovely quad of flattering shades on all skin tones and it’s versatile too. I really ought to use it more often.
