Daniel Sandler's Intense Volume Pro Mascara - Just Nice Things

Daniel Sandler’s Intense Volume Pro Mascara

Read Time:2 Minute, 3 Second

daniel_sandler_intense_volume_pro_mascaraDaniel Sandler is such a tease. He’s also very good at keeping schtum. This is pretty much how I would describe waiting for Daniel to drop his bombshell of a mascara that he told me about…ooh, I don’t know exactly when, I just know it was too long ago.

To be fair it’s taken five years for his latest project to come into fruition and finally it’s here – his Intense Pro Mascara. I know personally how much it has meant to him to get it right. Daniel doesn’t do things half-arsed (sorry for peppering a review of your product with a swear word, Daniel), but tackling the fiercely competitive market of mascaras when it’s ruled by big brands with even bigger budgets was a risky venture. This mascara has been a true labour of love and if anyone understands make-up and how the mascara is the most popular arsenal in a woman’s make-up bag, it’s Daniel Sandler. So how does Daniel’s offering change the game? Let’s see…

It’s not wrong with the intense part; this mascara is jet black. The creamy liquid formula stands out immediately as well – it is clump-free, non-flaking and non-smudging. How so? Well the paraben-free formula contains moisturising and conditioning ingredients essential to preserving the beauty of lashes.

The brush is also a integral part – flexible enough to get into the inner corner lashes with ease, which I find tricky with other mascara wands. Having such a well-designed brush also contributes strongly to separating, lengthening and even curling lashes (great for lazy girls like me who never bother) and is easy to build for thickness too.

At the end of my night out, my lashes were still holding up with not a smidgeon of flakiness. It was also easy to remove with some micellar water and crucially, no irritation experienced (and I’m a contact lens wearer FYI).

I really like the slick packaging of the mascara as well – it’s aesthetically pleasing to the eye and practical too. And the damage for this wondrous beauty? A very reasonable £18.50. This mascara won’t give you the appearance of fakery, instead it will bless you with natural yet glamorous looking lashes whilst enhancing the natural beauty of your eyes. That’s just the way a good mascara should work.
