Clinique has taken over Piccadilly Circus’s underground station! Yesterday I dropped in at their shiny new pop up shop which has set up camp for two weeks. Its colourful and vibrant presence has brightened up the dull façade of the dreary looking station and you can’t resist not wanting to go in for a snoop.
If you’ve not plucked up the courage to familiarise yourself with Clinique or simply are too rushed off your feet, the pop up shop is offering a complimentary express make up service to address any concerns you have about wanting to look and feel good, so if you are looking to brighten your lips, try a foundation or have a once-over, come and see the Clinique girls.
I got the chance to try Clinique’s Moisture Surge CC Cream with SPF30, which took me by surprise as I got a perfect match with the Medium-Deep shade and it gave an even and weightless coverage whilst giving my complexion a radiant glow. I thought I had tried pretty much everything Clinique stocks but evidently not!
I strongly recommend the Lip Pop – Clinique’s lipstick and primer in one. They’re long-lasting, pigmented and so comfortable to wear. No one else does this and Clinique’s selection of shades will want you craving for them all.
Meanwhile Clinique’s store in Covent Garden is undergoing a massive face lift and when finished will house everything Clinique. Blimey, Covent Garden has become make-up central!
Clinique’s pop up shop is open from Monday to Saturday between 10am and 8pm, and on Sunday between 11am to 5pm until Sunday 29th August.
*With the tube strike on from tonight and all day tomorrow (Thursday 6th August), I have a horrible feeling the shop will be shut as the station will be locked so be warned!
