QVC TSV: Alpha-H Liquid Gold Complexion Renewal Trilogy

Who doesn’t love a QVC TSV? For those who have emerged from under a rock, it’s when QVC teams up with a top name for a one-time offer or a Today’s Special Value. Hey, I actually learned something new last week – QVC stands for ‘Quality Value Convenience’. Did you know this?

OK, so where was I? Oh yes! Once again QVC has got together with Alpha-H for a very special TSV on Saturday 10th February. Yeah, I know I say this every time but what can you do when Alpha-H outshines itself every time?

The latest TSV called the Liquid Gold Complexion Renewal Trilogy includes a new launch for 2018, which is their new Liquid Gold Firming Eye Cream plus a super-size 200ml new look Liquid Gold and a 200ml Balancing Cleanser.

The benefits of Liquid Gold doesn’t need repeating but you can read my review of it here. That just leaves the two remaining products which I can tell you more about.

Balancing Cleanser
 (200ml)
This creamy lotion is very gentle and kind so those with particularly sensitive skin can breathe a sigh of relief as this won’t irritate. It contains aloe vera and vitamin E to calm and soothe the skin as it gets to work in dislodging stubborn make-up. I like to use it as a second cleanse to catch any last remnants of make-up before wiping it off with a hot, damp flannel and as it’s a whopping 200ml in size, this will last quite a while. Alpha-H’s Balance Cleanser leaves my skin soft, supple and hydrated. It’s been dubbed a 3-in-1 product as it removes eye make-up, cleanses and tones the skin.

Liquid Gold (200ml)
As I mentioned earlier, this doesn’t need an introduction or elaborating further. The difference though is a bigger size with a new look (a white bottle and a thin yet distinctive yellow gold band on the edge of the lid). Liquid Gold is one of those few products I have been using since I first tried it, and it’s one I’ve convinced my mum to use (who loves it).

Liquid Gold Firming Eye Cream (15ml)
I know what you’re thinking…”Liquid Gold for the eye”? That’s such a delicate area. We are told countless times to avoid getting any potent skincare near the eye area so what were Alpha-H thinking? Well the Liquid Gold Firming Eye Cream is a topical dermal corrector with quadruple peptide technology and next generation Lime Pearl AHA’s. Lime Pearl Extract is a new natural source derived from Caviar Lime that’s found in the rainforests on the Australia East Coast. This ingredient is abundant in citric acid and bioflavonoids and helps to accelerate cell turnover which in turn softens and reduces the appearance of fine lines and prevents little cysts from forming (otherwise known as milia). Also thrown in the mix is Hibiscus Petal, Cucumber Seed, White Mulberry, Ferulic Acid and Hawaiian Waltheria Indica Extract. all of which have soothing properties.

The Firming Eye Cream comes in a small tube with a gold metallic applicator tip that’s cooling and gentle enough to apply a small amount of product on the under eye area. The coolness of the applicator feels wonderful as it glides along without tugging at the skin, refreshing and hydrating the skin whilst brightening the entire orbital area at the same time. The cream is lightweight and moisturising, and is best applied to clean, dry skin.

It’s early days since I’ve started using this cream (only a week) but I can tell you I haven’t experienced any problems with it. I’m hoping it will help reduce the appearance of my dark circles but as I said, early days yet for any profound difference to show.

The eye cream alone is priced at £52 but you can get all three products for less than £40 when this TSV launches on QVC at the stroke of midnight this coming Saturday.

That said, I know this will fly out of QVC’s warehouse so to make sure you get a head start, you can pre-order these three products NOW ahead of the TSV going live on QVC’s channel (and you can beat the queue at the same time). Just make sure you use my special link to bag yourself a real bargain with Alpha-H’s Liquid Gold Complexion Renewal Trilogy set exclusive to QVC.

Thank you for flagging this up Sheenie. I’ve placed an order. Have you ever used their moisture repair cream? There seems to be an offer today where you basically get a duo for the price of one. I wondered if it was worth trying?x

    Hi Katie,

Glad you’ve bagged the trio. Yes, I’ve used the moisture repair cream – the offer sounds really good, I’d take advantage of it! You can’t go wrong with anything by Alpha-H. It’s very gentle and comfortable to wear and the dispenser is great so you only use as much as you need. Xx
